Plenty of Leeds United supporters have responded to comments made by attacker Jack Harrison, calling for the on-loan Manchester City man to make a permanent move to the club.
The 23-year-old former New York City FC winger is currently enjoying his second loan spell at Elland Road from parent club Manchester City, joining the Yorkshire club in 2018.
Having impressed for Marcelo Bielsa’s side over the past season and a half, Harrison has been a mainstay in the starting eleven, making 82 appearances for The Whites to date.
With consistent performances throughout his time at the club, Harrison has further impressed this term, gaining an impressive five goals in seven assists to help Leeds sit one point ahead of West Bromwich Albion at the top of the Championship table.
Having the option to sign Harrison this summer for a reported fee of around £8m, it is understood that Argentine coach Bielsa will look to complete the deal when the current season comes to an end.
A 16-year absence from England’s top flight could be ended by Leeds if they maintain their current league position and Harrison has been speaking to the Yorkshire Post about his desire to play a part in automatic promotion to the Premier League.
He also said (via @LUFCMOTcom) that even though he is on loan, promotion would mean everything, not only to him but everyone at the club.
