Gameweek 1 kicks off on August 15 with reigning champions Liverpool facing Bournemouth at Anfield. The Blues will play their first match of the season against Crystal Palace on August 17. Some of the fans made wild guesses about the names of the Blues' opponents. While one fan called Bournemouth's logo 'Mermaid', another fan called Manchester United, Real Madrid!

Chelsea have been handed a relatively easy start compared to the other giants of the English top flight, as they will face only one 'big side' side – Manchester United – in their first six league matches. Following their clash against Palace, the Blues are scheduled to take on West Ham, Fulham, Brentford and Brighton, as well as the Red Devils.
