Atlanta Hawks player Larry Nance Jr. and Hollywood star Will Ferrell, both part of Leeds United's ownership group, celebrated the team's impressive 3-1 comeback victory over Sheffield United by posing with the club's iconic salute. The image, shared on Leeds United's official social media accounts, shows the NBA star and Hollywood actor performing the salute courtside in the United States. The image of Nance Jr. and Ferrell doing the Leeds salute was shared on the club's official X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption "All Leeds aren't we."

As part of the 49ers Enterprises ownership group, which includes other celebrities such as Russell Crowe and Michael Phelps, their involvement brings an additional spotlight to Leeds' push for promotion back to the Premier League. The victory over Sheffield United has put five points clear at the top of the Championship table, strengthening their position in the race for automatic promotion.
Regarding his involvement with the club, Nance revealed, in the past, "I had been looking at [soccer ownership] over the past four or five years, different opportunities that came up and different teams. I felt this was the right time and situation with Leeds. For whatever reason, they were just so friendly and helpful. I'm a big community person. It's massive to me. The fact that they were so welcoming to me and showed me a good time, was a major reason I went with Leeds."

Daniel Farke’s side have been in excellent form this season, losing just three league games since the start but even that hasn’t been enough to give them a cushion. They do sit first on the Championship table but are only five points clear of second place Sheffield United with Burnley close behind in third. The Peacocks face West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road next before an away trip to Portsmouth next in the Championship.
