Araujo, 25, finds himself the subject of interest from both Chelsea and PSG as the summer transfer window approaches its conclusion. The Premier League club aren't short of centre-backs but according to , they have made contact with Benfica and are ready to challenge Les Parisiens for Araujo's signature.

Centre-backs Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill were joined in the transfer window by Tosin Adarabioyo, while Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah remains on the books at Stamford Bridge amid speculation surrounding their futures. But Chelsea have already showed this summer that they're not too concerned with having a bloated squad, and Araujo could be next to arrive in west London.
