He has struggled for minutes since returning from injury in December of last year, and he was also hit with a muscle injury that saw him miss seven games between February and April. United are willing to sell the midfielder provided they receive the right offer, but Mainoo currently has limited suitors with six days left of the transfer window. Amorim has not found a position for Mainoo in his 3-4-3 system and does not believe he is capable of starting. As a result, Mainoo is seeking an exit.
