Loads of Liverpool fans have been bashing Loris Karius, as the German goalkeeper has made some bizarre comments on his new home in Turkey.

It’s fair to say there was simply no way back for Karius at Liverpool after his Champions League final nightmare, as the young goalkeeper looked a shell of his former self.
The 25 year-old was shipped off on loan after making multiple errors in pre-season, joining Turkish giants Besiktas on a temporary deal with a view to a permanent move.
Besiktas are known for having some pretty intense fans, and the 6 ft 2 in stopper has had his say on the welcome he has received in Istanbul.
“I did not have this many fans in England and I can say most seem to be female,” he told Turkish outlet Fanatik.

“Whenever I am out and about in Istanbul whoever recognizes me wants a photograph.”
While this doesn’t seem like a direct dig at Liverpool, the Reds are very proud of their passionate support, and they’re not too impressed by what they perceive to be a parting dig.
The 25 year-old made 29 Premier League appearances at Anfield, but he seems to have burned his bridges now, as you can see from the Twitter reactions down below…
